The unique layout of the hotel built around the Canopy Central hub of essential public spaces, abundant light, and neighborhood-inspired design, made me feel like I was at the center of a thriving community. The local artists' touch in the design was a delightful surprise, adding a vibrant and truly authentic ambiance to the hotel.

We liked this hotel: staff and location were all ideal! The room was neat with 2 queen beds and had a safe box, multi-channel TV and a refrigerator.

The whole place was fairly clean, I liked it, and had great location and staff. The restaurant was lovely for breakfast here, I had delicious dishes. Cereals and scrambled eggs provided in the morning.

As for me, the area was awful.

Always my go-to spot in DC! Helpful staff carried my heavy bags on my first stay. Perfect amenities: Free Wi-Fi, 24/7 reception/security, bar/restaurant, fitness center, pool. And I'm always back for the weekend!

The hotel was luxury, and I appreciated exceptional staff and updated room. The property had a central location and it was easy walk to Charles Sumner School. Booked a room with breakfast.

The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for senior folks like me to navigate. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the metro stations and the availability of valet parking made it convenient for those with mobility needs, ensuring a stress-free stay.

A better vacation for senior people would be enhanced if the children of the staff were more attentive to the specific needs and preferences of senior guests.

Everything was simply great. This fabulous hotel with its very good staff and location was the best. The breakfast had plenty of options, including cereal and hardboiled eggs.

My recent stay at Canopy was fantastic! I was in Washington for a weekend getaway and stayed at the hotel for two nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist with any requests. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I loved that the hotel kept the rooms cool, as I find it difficult to sleep in stuffy hot rooms. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was within walking distance to all the attractions and there was a nearby metro station. I had a wonderful experience at Canopy and would definitely stay here again.

Pretty standard clean hotel with best staff who made the stay a very nice experience.

I chose this hotel for a conference and was pleased with the productive meeting in a modern event space. The available catering options and AV equipment made for a seamless experience. The complimentary high-speed Internet access and 24-hour business center were valuable for managing work tasks efficiently.

One service that I missed for my work was a wider variety of breakfast options to accommodate different preferences and dietary needs.

One reproach: the disposable breakfast dishes... Although this is something often found in the United States, it does not go well with environmental protection efforts.

Totally really great experience. We liked this ideal central hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of food! Room was warm with exceptionally comfortable beds and stylish bathroom.

We had a phenomenal stay! The hotel's location in the bay of Kotor was stunning and one of our favorite spots during our visit to Montenegro and Croatia. The views from our balcony were incredible, overlooking the bay and its tiny islands. The hotel's breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay.

Very nice reception staff, free help with printing travel documents, quite close to the main attractions of DC, room of appropriate size (not too small), comfortable bed, furniture/equipment a little older but clean.

Breakfast (by European standards) was practically nonexistent - sweet doughnuts, coffee, sweet flakes, sweet yogurt - after the first visit we did not look there anymore. No restaurant in the immediate vicinity (access about 10-15 minutes). Next time, however, I would try to choose a hotel closer to the "center".

This hotel is truly outstanding with a perfect location that allowed us to easily walk everywhere or take public transport. It is located very close to the tourist attractions and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful during the stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a fantastic view, making our stay very comfortable.

The price of valet parking was slightly higher than expected but it did not affect our overall experience.

The central location!

at night a bit noisy due to the noise of the streets. in our case, one in three had to have earplugs. like so often in the usa for breakfast everything in plastic and on plastic.

Loved the unique layout and design inspired by local artists. Had a productive meeting with catering options and AV equipment. Convenient location to major attractions. Yummy neighborhood-inspired food at Super Franc. Enjoyed an energizing swim and Jacuzzi dip.

location of the hotel is great, only 10 min walk to the white house. newly renovated and large rooms. breakfast was also good and staff very friendly.

The rooms were very well lit towards the street.

It is about 10 minutes from the Casa Blanca so it is very close to the most important points of interest. In addition, 5 minutes away there are several restaurants of good price type Vapiano or Nandos. The hotel staff was very attentive at all times

I didn't like the price of the parking, unbelievable what they charge for "take you to park and bring the car" very very expensive.

The hotel is located in a very good neighborhood, within walking distance of all the major sites in DC. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a pull-out sofa couch. The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Paul bakery, is delicious, especially the pancakes with blueberries. The staff provides excellent service, always serving with a smile.

geographical situation

breakfast, valet parking extremely expensive, whole hallway was a construction site. construction noise from 7 in the morning.

The room was amazing! The bathroom was so spacious with a huge walk-in shower, and the Nespresso machine was perfect to start my day. The comfy bed with the 5-Zone Foam Topper was just what I needed after a long day out.

I personally found the plasma TV a bit too big for the space.

It is a very good option to stay in Washington, very friendly and helpful staff, the room is simply huge and exceptional, we did not have breakfast but every morning there was coffee and some complimentary sweets and that was enough to start. Also it was just a 10 minute walk in a straight line to the white house.

Some rooms are being refurbished and there is plastic protection on the hallway carpets . Breakfast is in the basement and at certain times you have to wait to sit down.

The continental breakfast was fine, I wasn't expecting more. The location is good, close to subway, downtown, cafes and restaurants. Comfortable and spacious room.

We made a reservation for 3 people and were supposed to pay until arrival, but a week before the hotel made a non-refundable charge for one night. I was also hoping for a reduction in the rate as in the end we were only able to travel for two people.

Breakfast is weak, hot water is maybe 50 degrees, it's hard to make tea out of it. In the hallway renovation. No safe and no closet.

The hotel had very friendly staff and the rooms were quite spacious. the location of the hotel was also convenient, being close to food, shopping, and popular tourist attractions.

There were a few things that I didn't like about the hotel. there was no coffee available in the lobby, which was disappointing.

The biggest minus is that breakfasts are monotonous and there is a small selection of healthy products. No vegetables, dairy, cold cuts. On the plus side fruit (apples, peaches, plums). Coffee is disgusting. On the other hand, breakfast is in the price of the stay so you can not expect too much from it ;)

rooms were large with great beds, spacious bathroom and well equipped.

there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. air conditioning was quite loud. refrigerator was also loud, could not be switched off and did not cool down.

During my recent stay at Canopy, I was delighted by the spaciousness of the room. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The newly renovated bathroom and toilet fittings added a touch of luxury to my stay. Additionally, the breakfast provided was decent and satisfying.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the heart of the city. The location was absolutely perfect, situated on a busy roundabout but still in a very good neighborhood. It was within walking distance of all of the major sites, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

All was good, nothing that needs improvement.
